LUSINI and leafsystems join forces for the gastronomy of the future – LUSINI acquires stake in leafsystems, a provider of POS systems

Wertingen/Mannheim, 11. May 2023 – Bundled expertise: LUSINI Group GmbH, one of Europe’s leading hotel and catering suppliers, acquires a stake in software provider Leaf Systems GmbH. The German-Austrian company develops customized digital solutions for the hospitality industry – especially in the area of POS systems. Through LUSINI’s participation in leafsystems, the two companies aim to create synergies in order to offer their customers innovative solutions that facilitate and improve everyday work in the food service industry.

Omnichannel provider LUSINI, one of the leading international suppliers to the restaurant and hotel industry, has acquired a stake in Leaf Systems GmbH, a software provider of digital solutions for the hospitality industry founded in 2013. With this strategic partnership, the LUSINI Group is expanding its portfolio to include leafsystems’ innovative POS system solutions for the hospitality industry.

The core products of the Mannheim-based software company, which was founded in 2013, are a platform-independent, web-based and modular POS system and a digital payment solution that can be used in all catering establishments, from food trucks to company canteens. In addition, leafsystems offers its customers digital solutions to combat staff shortages and optimize operational processes. In order to be able to offer regional service by experts, leafsystems has established a comprehensive network of specialist dealers in the DACH region. For Tobias Steinbacher, CFO of the LUSINI Group, the partnership with leafsystems is another important step in the LUSINI Group’s growth strategy: “As a full-service supplier for the catering and hotel industry, we are always in partnership with our customers to support them in their day-to-day work and offer them the best solutions.
