founding story
What began around 13 years ago as a student project quickly became a full-time job for the three former business informatics students Patrick Marksteiner, Patrick Neulinger and Shenwei Ye.
The three founders gained an early insight into the catering industry in their family environment. They noticed that many processes in the catering industry could be made even better and more digital.
Based on the conviction that ordering processes in restaurants can work better with a tablet than with a classic “analog” menu, this idea led to a joint student project that laid the foundation for leafsystems.
